Created in 2018, the "Foundation lnstitut Pasteur du Laos" aims at supporting research activities by lnstitut Pasteur of Laos in relation with infectious diseases through the funding of lnstitut Pasteur of Laos' capacity building, research projects, salaries of Lao researchers, technicians and support personnel.

On 22^nd of January 2026, the ECOMORE project national kick-off meeting was organized in Vientiane. The project is funded by the Agence Française de Développement. The meeting was attended by Representatives of partner organizations and of the French Embassy in Laos.

On 14^th of January 2026, the 3^rd Joint Coordinating Committee meeting of the SATREPS (Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development) project, funded by JICA and AMED, was held.

For the 3^rd consecutive year, the Fondation Institut Pasteur du Laos has awarded a research grant (Young Researcher Grant Award) to encourage a young Lao scientist to develop, coordinate and execute an innovative research project. Read more>>
